Despite the bad weather condition in China, which worries me a lot ...I am glad to see the picture of my kids and other students and these is what the team leader wrote:
Group Two, Early morning start to look at all the sights in Xian. Still loads of snow and student excited. Started with the Xian city wall walk. All pretending to be soldiers - how did they survive without thermal underwear! The museum on the wall had a feng shui grand master who taught all of us about the art of Feng Shui. All students have now planned to reorganize their homes. Wild Goose Pagoda next - a spiritual time for the group as we climbed 7 floors top the top of the Pagoda. Great views of Xian.Terracotta army Pottery next. Saw how they made the statues 2200 years ago and the pottery is using the same methods now. Then we went to see the real army. Nothing can prepare you for the sight of the soldiers and horses in Pit one. It was surreal. All the photos you see on our return captures some of the magic of the place.Royal hot springs (see photo). every river and lake is frozen apart from the hot spring area. Eventually, off to the airport- delayed flight. Arrived Beijing at midnight.Great students. No complaints from them even though they were exhausted after such a long day. They were great to be with.
