We went out late for a dinner at this place called KOBE. It's just 10mins drive from the house. Hubby thought it was a Japanese restaurant as the name suggest. It's a place where you can have a wide varities of steak. I ordered a black pepper steak and the service was fast as fast as the passengers skytrain in KLIA. I am exaggerating..... I wonder how many chefs are there to produce such fantastic meals with loads of hungry customers waiting. The restaurant was full of people. I thought probably it's just because of weekend or just another birthday party on a leap year night .Back to the steak business, what do you know? I had the most gigantic beef steak I have ever seen. I feel guilty not to have them photos. Again I have to cut them half and let my hubby finished them up for me. My daughter was like me...a small eater couldn't believe her eyes when her chicken mushroom steak with rice plus chips....served right before her eyes. Another huge portion that could feed 2 average kids. Smokes fill the air. (who ever comes out with that menu idea) must be a genius.
Overall food was yummy and we headed home feeling sleepy & bloated....

ThIs MoRning

The trip to Lulu Hypermarket in Ghubra this morning was a bad decision. I was caught in a traffic jam. It was all about the advert that I saw in the magazine . When I asked about the British Fair the sale's lady was in complete bafflement.
"ma araf" she said in arabic..... means I don't know. I asked the guy at the counter who then told me If I came one day earlier I could still catch them on display. What am I suppose to do here? Never mind since the camera is handy, I took the picture of Lulu Hypermarket just to replay this morning event!

....At the Ambassador's place

It's not everyday we in Oman receive visitors from Brunei. His Excellency Dato Seri Setia Hj Adam Bin Hj Ahmad & Datin hosted a dinner party to welcome the VVIP's Pehin Lim Jock Seng of MFA and Pehin Halbi of MOD.
We from the Petroleum Development Of Oman were also invited.

Dinner
We couldn't find any Asian restaurant that serve authentic malay food here so we opted for an open air restaurant in Al Khuwair after a hard long decision where to have dinner tonite. A nice open air restaurant... though we had a very enthusiast neighbour sitting behind us who happened to watch a Live football match with a voice that could knock a plane out of the sky.
I noticed my perfume died on me once the shisha lovers exhale the smoke in the air. Anyway food came almost an hour(too long that I could just sleep on the sofa) . Food was good and we hurried back as the shouting from the first goal could give me & hubby a heart attack ..... :*

Sheraton

" Sheraton" came 2nd in MCFL. It took alot of efforts & team works. Thanks to the coach . Many of those young players are talented and also very good. Last weekend my son's played their final and brought the MCFL medal and lots of souveniers to bring home. Thanks to their main sponsors Nawras. At the end of the day Nawras had 5 lucky draws for 5 lucky winners which includes a handphone set. I didn't get so lucky this time. But still all smile as my son's team did a great job!!

Old Muscat Fort
Last Friday hubby & me went all the way to

old Muscat just to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
It was a very cold and relaxing Friday morning. Love the sea breeze :)
We saw some tourist boat approaching and a group of French
tourist admiring the old muscat waterfront.
